# Transfer dollars and framed menu help —2026-11-03

Released 2026-11-03: all **125 required groups pass** on the exact ROM and
444 current native/test sources. Source-ZIP rebuild and original-base IPS are
byte-exact. [Qualification and retained failures](QA_20261103_LOGS.md).

ROM SHA256 `7d1fc931f5a5a4958b1eefcc05f00661b5321a6a1b2404d7563c98a22b8eb262`; CRC32 `61F87B0A`.

## Money display

One unchanged internal transfer unit is displayed as **$1.000**. Whole-dollar
amounts use a leading dollar sign and dots between thousands, consistently in
player prices, available budget, sale proceeds, purchase cost and remaining funds.
The original economy is unchanged: price=base native OVR squared; initial budget
16,042 units = **$16.042.000**. OVR 99 costs **$9.801.000** and OVR 79 costs **$6.241.000**;
together these exactly fit the initial budget, covering one star and one middle
player at both upper bounds. Selling still creates a Free Agent, not a swap.

Native accounting, ownership, roster validation, transactions, checksum and saves
retain their previous bytes and units. Formatting never multiplies in 32 bits:
it formats the internal unsigned number then appends a thousands group. Zero is
$0; maximum 32-bit internal amount displays $4.294.967.295.000 without overflow.
Actual catalog prices fit the 10-character right-aligned list column. Original
20-character names, natural position and OVR remain visible. Budget and club are
on separate lines, avoiding collisions. Impossible oversized catalog data is
rejected at build time; diagnostic oversized rows display $OVERFLOW.

The original ASCII dollar font entry is not a dollar symbol. A modal-owned dollar
pattern at 0x25A020 is admitted only inside the native transfer text packet and
exact original font-table contexts. Other original font mappings are retained.

## Main-menu help

The existing native frame patterns form a separate footer border inside 320×224.
The unchanged help meaning is centred horizontally and vertically: `D-pad Change
B/Start Play`. Five settings rows are visible at once; every original option is
still selectable by scrolling. Settings and footer have separate bottom/top
borders. No new frame artwork or unrelated page footer is introduced.

## Stars score erratum

Fresh reproduction on exact released 2026-11-02-r2 shows that **QG-V01 was already
repaired there**. Its Stars entry clears the compact-score redraw latch and calls
the native renderer after a shootout winner. The prior current notes incorrectly
carried forward an unresolved label. The authentic preceding 2026-11-02 release
b29af4… reproduces stale 0–0 and 2–2 compact scores; r2 and this release show the
correct 1–0, 0–1 and 3–2 final results. Both winners, nonzero ties, ordinary native
OT and Full/Light/Mini/Quickgame/Allstar are checked. The Stars module is byte
identical to r2: this release does **not** claim a new Stars code fix. Original
historical failed images remain unchanged.

## Scope and limits

Only declared transfer text helpers, a guarded dollar glyph, main-menu frame/
placement operands, version and checksum differ from r2. Result, scorer/keeper,
season storage and economy code are protected by exact-region comparisons.
125 mandatory groups include every earlier 124 plus unsigned dollar-format/ABI
checks; all failures are retained and cannot count as passes. Actual opened
native screenshots are required in addition to logs. Physical controllers and
subjective readability/play feel remain human acceptance limits.

The 9:33 native-sound film remains the authentic 2026-11-02-r2 recording. Current
2026-11-03 UI images show the cosmetic changes; the film is not relabelled.

## Opened image audit

All 102 current website picture IDs are refreshed from the exact final ROM, with
123 opened native captures including all 26 main-menu scroll contexts, real
transfer transactions/guards, ordinary/Allstar/presentation and HUD/card/season
scenes. Some unchanged views continue authenticated prior captured test states
and paired private SRAM; the manifest discloses each scope. Charging views retain
real held C/B input, and completed/playoff main menus are redrawn with real mode
navigation. Fresh final coldboots and a real four-controller transfer match cover
startup/credits, powerplays, keeper/HUD and final Stars. The current Stars image
shows New York 3–Edmonton 1. The older r2 image's 5–2 caption was erroneous: its raw
context and actual image both show Edmonton 2–New York 1. Historical raw files are
retained; no score or statistics was changed to match a caption.

Physical USB/four-person use and subjective play feel remain manual; a screenshot
does not prove every button response, pricing invariant or sound salience. The
mandatory native tests and authentic r2 sound tour provide separate evidence.
